The objects controlled by the Filling system include the conveying motors, protective gas valves, filling valves, cap lowering mechanisms, and capping mechanisms at each production station. The collected data include the liquid level of the storage cylinder and the online bottle, the pressure of the protective gas, the flow rate of the liquid during filling, the speed of the empty/full bottle conveying belt, the status of empty and full bottles in place, blocking, cap lowering, and opening and closing of the filling piston valve.
The automatic filling machine consists of a conveyor belt and filling liquid tanks, and the conveyor belt is driven by a motor. The motor can rotate in both forward and reverse directions. When the motor is rotating forward, the conveyed cans pass through four workstations in sequence: the empty can station, the filling station, the full can station and the terminal station.
The control panel consists of two devices on the filling control console: a common lower computer control panel and an upper computer HMI(Human-Machine Interface), both of which can control the automatic filling machine respectively. The lower computer uses a common control panel. On the control panel, it is required to design start and stop buttons, emergency stop buttons, lower (PLC)/ upper (HMI) selection switches, manual/automatic selection switches, forward and reverse point operation switches, fault reset buttons, counters, count reset buttons and various indicator lights. The upper computer human-machine interface requires that the HMI device use the TP177BcolorPN/DP touch screen as the control device.
The entire system requires the lower computer to use the Siemens programmable controller S7-300 for control and management, and the upper computer to use the configuration software WinccFlexible to dynamically display the on-site status in the form of graphics, tables, curves, etc. on the TP177BcolorPN/DP touch screen for on-site monitoring. The conveyor belt motor is driven by the Siemens MM440 series frequency converter, and it is required that the programmable controller S7-300 can communicate and control with the MM440 series frequency converter through the Profibus-DP network, and the frequency converter drives the motor.
The weighing and filling machine needs to be designed with both manual and automatic working modes. Manual mode is used for equipment debugging and resetting the full tank count value. The weighing filling machine is allowed to start operation in automatic mode. The control system should be equipped with the functions of handling emergency situations, fault diagnosis and display alarm. When the equipment malfunctions, the control system can respond immediately. The corresponding indicator lights on the control panel or HMI will flash. After the fault is eliminated, only by pressing the fault reset button can the filling machine operate automatically.
