The Lead time weighing and feeding machine is usually composed of an automatic batching electrical control system, a controlled feeding device (equipment), and a monitoring system. It is suitable for sites with continuous batching requirements, where the proportioning requirements for various materials are relatively strict. The mixer and weighing module are adopted as the metering equipment. The main unit is equipped with PID regulation and alarm functions, which can realize the automatic control of one warehouse. It is connected to the control host through fieldbus to form a distributed system, functioning as a sub-station or slave station within the system.

The Lead time weighing and Feeding machine starts under the control of the PLC and outputs different signals (fast feeding, slow feeding, unloading, etc.) to the PLC at different measurement stages, which directly controls the external equipment by the PLC. The operation console is equipped with button switches and other devices to achieve manual control of the above-mentioned parts. Emergency stop buttons are installed both at the on-site operation site and on the centralized control operation console. The two emergency stop buttons are connected in series and are used for emergency power-off handling in case of emergencies.

After the equipment is started, the stirring mechanism begins to operate to prevent the materials in the silo from warping and affecting the continuous conveying of the materials. The screw Feeder is composed of a stepping motor, a reducer and a screw shaft with screw blades. The rotation of the screw shaft causes the powder material to move relatively along the screw surface. When the material feeding begins, both the large and small screw feeders work simultaneously. The operation of the large screw feeder can enhance the efficiency of material feeding. When the weight of the material in the pallet reaches a preset weight value (the preset weight value is generally set to about 95% of the final weight value of the material), the sensor sends a signal to the control system, and the control system controls the stepping motor of the large screw feeder to stop working. At this point, only the small screw feeder continues to work to achieve the purpose of precise feeding. The purpose of designing two sets of the same large and small screw feeders in the equipment is to improve the working efficiency of the equipment.

The batching system adopts dual CPU to form a redundant system, and the STEP7MicroWin V4.0SP6 programming software provided by Siemens is used as the man-machine interface to write debugging programs and download programs. The PC and PLC experimental machine are connected by a PC/PPI cable for communication, and the corresponding parameters are set.
