The main process actions of the automatic filling scale include six aspects: container transmission and positioning, intermittent rotation of the turntable, container clamping and fixation, quantitative filling, and product output. The corresponding mechanisms are the bottle conveying mechanism, the rotation mechanism with clamping function, the filling mechanism, the capping and sealing mechanism, and the bottle unloading mechanism.

In order to better achieve the output and transmission purpose of the Filling system, the belt transmission method is selected. Due to the intermittent rotation of the rotary table, in order to ensure that the container can be intermittently and orderly conveyed to the rotary table station, a conveying wheel mechanism with three mutually 120 Angle slots is adopted. Assuming the rotational speed of the conveyor wheel, the time interval for the conveyor wheel to transport the container to the workstation each time is t2/3w. There are three semi-circular grooves on the transmission wheel of this mechanism for clamping empty bottles. The time taken for each full rotation is exactly the same as the time for changing positions on the turntable.

The positioning of containers is directly related to the accuracy of the filling process. To achieve container positioning without increasing the overall size of the mechanism, a rotary worktable with its own groove and capable of intermittent rotation is designed here. The rotary table is surrounded by six semi-circular grooves spaced 60° apart. Every time the rotary table rotates a range of 60°, the container is immediately positioned. The smooth rotation of the rotary table is directly related to the entire filling process. To achieve the clearance rotation of the rotary table, a sprocket clearance mechanism is selected to convert the rotary motion to the unidirectional clearance rotation.

To prevent container jumping during filling, which could lead to processing misalignment, errors, inaccurate filling and waste, and also to avoid increasing the external dimensions of the entire mechanism, two inclined table clamping devices were designed. The inclined table is tangent to the container at filling station 2 and sealing and capping station 3. When the container is just transported to the corresponding station, it is clamped. At this time, the rotating worktable enters the gap stop period. Taking advantage of this gap, the filling equipment and the sealing and capping equipment can precisely fill and seal the containers. The container has been well clamped at two workstations. Moreover, throughout the entire process, only at the clamping points does the container and the inclined table have significant friction, resulting in high effective power utilization of the system.

The mechanisms that realize the quantitative filling function of the rotary automatic Filling machine include crank connecting rod mechanism, horse wheel mechanism, etc., and the reciprocating diaphragm pump driven by the crank connecting rod mechanism is adopted. Diaphragm pumps are sometimes also called control pumps. As the main type of actuator, they rely on power drive to control the flow of fluids and are more suitable for the output of filling containers for solid-liquid mixtures.
